Cookie Dough Questions
Nope. Just follow our instructions on the tub (everything you need is there).
Scoop and roll chilled dough into balls. Place on a tray lined with baking paper.
Bake at 180°C for 8-10 minutes. Cool then indulge.
Makes 6-8 cookies dependent on size. Remember, baking time may vary depending on your oven.

Depending on cookie size, each 250g tubs makes 6-8 cookies.
We use quality ingredients sourced in New Zealand where possible. Our founder, Katie, reinvented her mum’s original recipe to make this dough.

Pop your dough in the fridge for easy access and the perfect texture for up to 4 weeks.
If you want to extend the life of your dough, pop it in the freezer and it'll last up to 6 months.
Cookie dough stores at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Traditional cookie dough is a no-go. But our cookie dough recipe is eggless and contains pre-baked (or heat-treated) flour to kill off any harmful bacteria, making it completely safe.
Yes, our eggless recipe paired with heat-treated flour is completely safe to eat without baking. Get scooping.
We have a
Gluten Friendly / Vegan Choc Chunk. .
While all ingredients in this dough are gluten free, including Bakels GF Health Flour, all our dough is made in the same facility.
Most of our doughs do not contain peanuts or tree nuts (they will be clearly labelled). All our dough is made in the same place, which is not a 100% nut-free facility.
Our cookie dough is not certified kosher.

We dispatch Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (excluding holidays).
The cut-off for shipping is 9AM on the day. So, if you place an order Wednesday at 11AM, it will ship the following Monday.
We want your dough to arrive as fresh as possible. This schedule decreases the risk that your order will spend the weekend in the courier depot.
We use overnight (North Island) and 2-day (South Island) delivery options. This is a target only - we cannot guarantee it'll arrive within this period as delays are common and outside of our control.
Rural address? Sure, but you must choose this option at checkout as it costs additional and understand it'll take extra time to arrive.
We send all orders with Authority to Leave, meaning they don't need a signature.
Couriers may be seeing delays for many reasons.
Luckily, your cookie dough can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. So when it does arrive, best to pop it into the fridge or freezer for 4weeks/6 months.
The best and quickest way to get answers relating to the courier, is to contact them directly. This speeds up the conversation, and gets us a solution faster. Courier contacts can be found here. Be ready with tracking number, receiver name, and contact details.

You'll receive a tracking number via email when we're packing your parcel.
Use tracking link to follow your item. If tracking is not updating or the parcel is taking longer than expected, contact the courier directly.

Rural address? Yes, but you must choose this shipping option at checkout as there are additional costs - and understand it'll take an extra 2-3 days in transit.
PO Box? We’ll send to a PO Box at your own risk.
Some mail services don't accept our emails (including xtra.co.nz). Give your junk folder a peek just in case. Tracking numbers will be sent once your order has shipped. Contact email@example.com if you're missing yours.
Email us if you haven't received a tracking confirmation yet, and we'll do our best to make the change.

Orders placed between 12PM Sunday and 9AM Wednesday cannot be edited once complete as we ship <24 hours of receiving your order.
Otherwise, there is a short window of time for us to make amendments to your order. Email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll do our best :)
Unfortunately it's very possible! Lockdowns, alert levels and traffic light settings have impacted orders; however, it's mostly just through courier delays. We'll do our best to communicate any delays with you, via our webpage banner and confirmation email.
First thing, have a look around your property for the package - check all the possible places, and, of course, re-check the mailbox. If nothing, ask your neighbors as it may have been delivered to them by mistake 🕵️♀️
If still no luck, a call to the courier company is the next step. They can usually make direct contact with the driver to advise on where it may have been dropped. Courier contacts can be found here.
If it's well and truly lost, email us at email@example.com with your order number and information. Claims for packages marked "delivered" yet not received must be made 2 days after “delivery date” but no longer than 15 days to ensure it was not misdelivered or easily found around the premises. Claims for packages presumed to be lost (where the status is not "delivered") must be filed after 2 days and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.
Shoot, really sorry! It's rare but does happen.
