Cookie Dough Questions

Nope - just follow our baking instructions on the tub or our website (or check out the next question), everything you need is in the dough.

Scoop and roll chilled dough into balls.
Place on a tray lined with baking paper.
Bake at 180°C for 8-10 minutes*.
Cool then indulge.

*Remember, baking time may vary depending on your oven and the size of your cookies.

Depending on cookie size, each 240g tubs makes 6-8 cookies.

We use quality ingredients sourced in New Zealand when possible. The original founder, Katie, reinvented her mum’s original recipe to make this dough and we have continued to honour this timeless recipe.

Store your dough in the fridge for easy access and the perfect texture for up to 5 days.

If you want to extend the life of your dough, pop it in the freezer and it'll last up to 6 months.

Traditional cookie dough is a no-go. But our cookie dough recipe is eggless and contains heat-treated flour to kill off any harmful bacteria, making it completely safe to eat straight from the tub!

We have clearly labelled the tubs with all ingredients, please double check the ingredients list for allergens.
All our dough is made in the same place, which is not a 100% nut-free facility.

Our cookie dough is not certified kosher.

Shipping Questions

We dispatch Monday to Thursday (excluding holidays).

The cut-off for shipping is 8AM on the day. So, if you place an order Friday at 11AM, it will ship the following Monday.

We want your dough to arrive as fresh as possible. This schedule decreases the risk that your order will spend the weekend in the courier depot.

We use overnight (North Island) and 2-day (South Island) delivery options. This is a target only - we cannot guarantee it'll arrive within this period as delays are common and outside of our control.

Rural address? Sure, but you must choose this option at checkout as it costs additional and understand it'll take extra time to arrive.

We send all orders with Authority to Leave, meaning they don't need a signature.

Couriers may be seeing delays for many reasons.
The best and quickest way to get answers relating to the courier, is to contact them directly. This speeds up the conversation, and gets us a solution faster.

If you’re struggling to get a good outcome with the courier, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

You'll receive a tracking number via email when we're packing your parcel.

Use tracking link to follow your item. If tracking is not updating or the parcel is taking longer than expected, contact the courier directly.

Rural address? Yes, but you must choose this shipping option at checkout as there are additional costs - and understand it'll take an extra 2-3 days in transit.

PO Box? We’ll send to a PO Box at your own risk.

Some mail services don't accept our emails (including xtra.co.nz). Give your junk folder a peek just in case. Tracking numbers will be sent once your order has shipped. Contact hello@cookiedoughcollective.co.nz if you're missing yours.

Email us if you haven't received a tracking confirmation yet, and we'll do our best to make the change.

Otherwise, contact the courier company to request re-direction.

There is a short window of time for us to make amendments to your order. Email hello@cookiedoughcollective.co.nz and we'll do our best :)

First thing, have a look around your property for the package - check all the possible places, and, of course, re-check the mailbox. If nothing, ask your neighbors as it may have been delivered to them by mistake 🕵️‍♀️

If still no luck, a call to the courier company is the next step. They can usually make direct contact with the driver to advise on where it may have been dropped.

If it's well and truly lost, email us at hello@cookiedoughcollective.co.nz with your order number and information. Claims for packages marked "delivered" yet not received must be made 2 days after “delivery date” but no longer than 15 days to ensure it was not misdelivered or easily found around the premises. Claims for packages presumed to be lost (where the status is not "delivered") must be filed after 2 days and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.

Shoot, really sorry! It's rare but does happen.

No, we don't include invoices in any of our packages. If you'd like a tax invoice, please email hello@cookiedoughcollective.co.nz and we'll be happy to help.

Discount codes cannot be combined, used for gift certificates or applied retroactively. If it's still not working, email us at hello@cookiedoughcollective.co.nz and we'll look into it for ya.

Yes, select Pick Up at checkout as your delivery option. We will then be in contact with you to arrange a pick up time. We are based in Birkdale, Auckland.

Our Dough Shop is online. We also frequent other events - check Facebook or Instagram for updates on where we'll be.
