DOUGH Qs:
 
Q: When is the next re-stock?
A: We restock on a weekly basis.
 
Q: Do I add ingredients to my cookie dough?
A: Nope - bake or eat; everything you need is there.
 
Q: How do I bake my cookies?
Bake from frozen or chilled. 
SPOON OUT using an ice-cream scoop or similar
ROLL each cookie into the size of a golf ball
PLACE 1cm apart on a baking tray lined with baking paper
BAKE at 180°C for 8-10 minutes until bottoms golden and edges starting to crisp
COOL for 10 minutes before munching
Remember, baking time may vary depending on your oven.
 
Q: How many cookies can I make?
A: Depends on the size obvi but generally speaking...
Original Tub (450g) makes 12 cookies
Mini Tubs & Cookie Dough Logs (250g) makes 6 cookies 
 
Q: What ingredients are in this cookie dough?
A: We use quality ingredients that we're proud of. See ingredient lists and nutritional information for our dough here.
 
Q: How should I store? How long will this cookie dough last?
A: We recommend to store in the freezer for 3+ months. It does not freeze solid, you can easily stick a spoon in it. After this period, it's still safe to eat, but the amazing flavor will begin to fade.
 
Dough is also fine to keep in the fridge (2 weeks) or at room temperature (10 days); over and above this period, it's safe to eat but will start to lose flavour
 
Q: I thought you weren't supposed to eat raw cookie dough?
A: Not this dough! Our dough isn't raw. Our recipe is egg-free and contains pre-baked flour - to kill off any harmful bacteria. Dig in guys!
 
Q: I'm pregnant. Can I eat this cookie dough?
A: Heck ya girl! With no eggs and heat-treated flour, it'll mega sort those cravings.
 
Q: I'm gluten-free. Can I eat this cookie dough?
A: Oh yes! Made with Maize, Rice & Soya Flour along with Whittaker's 50% Dark Chocolate, check out GF Choc Chunk!
 
We are extra careful, but please note, we do make all our dough in the same facility and traces of gluten may be present.
 
Q: I'm vegan. Can I eat this cookie dough?
A: Hello Plant-based friend, we've got something for you! Vegan Choc Chunk, made with Whittaker's 50% Dark chocolate.
 
Other dough contains butter and milk (unless otherwise specified).
 
 
SHIPPING Qs:
 
Q: When will my order ship?
A: We ship dough Monday thru Thursday* depending on your location (see Shipping Schedule below). The cut off for next-day shipping is 8pm the day prior, but, if we can ship it sooner, we will.
 
Our Shipping Schedule is in place to decrease the risk that your dough will spend the weekend in a courier depot. *Our Shipping Schedule:
Auckland: Mon - Thurs
Rest of North Island: Mon, Tues & Wed
South Island: Mon & Tues
Rural Addresses: Mon, Tues & Wed
 
So if you place an order Thursday at 2:00pm, and you are located in Tauranga, it will not ship until Monday. Make sure you read up on details in our Shipping Policy.
 
Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?
A: Depends on where you live but here are some estimated delivery times.
 
Auckland & rest of North Island: overnight (ships mon, arrives tues)
South Island: 2 days (ships mon, arrives wed)
 
Allow 3+ business days for rural addresses. More info in our Shipping Policy.

Q: I didn’t get an order confirmation / tracking number?
A: Some mail services don't accept our emails - notably, xtra.co.nz. Give your junk folder a peek in case. Tracking numbers will send once your order has shipped, or could also be hiding in your “junk” or “promos” folder.
 
Q: I messed up and put in the wrong address...
A: If it's within 3 hours of your order, email or text us with your order number and correct address - we will amend it if possible. 
We are unable to change addresses once your order ships. But you can contact NZ Post to redirect your order (adds 2-3 days).
 
Q: Do you ship outside New Zealand?
A: At this time we are only shipping in New Zealand.
 
Q: Will Covid-19 impact my delivery?
A: Hopefully not!! Depending on New Zealand's alert level, it could impact delivery times but we'll do our best to communicate any delays with you.
 
Q: My order says it's delivered but I haven’t received it?
A: Ring the courier service and they'll confirm it's location. Check around your house and even ask your neighbours. If the courier is insistent that it's delivered, send us an email.

Q: My cookie dough arrived damaged beyond salvation 😭
A: Yikes, sorry - it's rare but it does happen. Email us a picture of the damaged goods and your order number. We'll credit you or send out a new order, don't fret!
 
Q: I've been sent the wrong cookie dough!?
A: Shoot, so sorry if we mixed up! Email us a picture of the items you did receive and your order number. We'll apologise and will fix this up ASAP!
 
 
OTHER Qs:
 
Q: Why didn't my discount code work?
A: Discount codes cannot be combined, cannot be used for gift certificates and cannot be applied retroactively.  If it's still not working, contact us and we'll look into it ASAP.
 
Q: Can I pick up my order in person?
A: Yes, but you must preorder online
 
Q: How long until I can collect my pick-up order?
A: Monday - Friday (during business hours), orders can be ready in as quick as 15 minutes, but can take up to 4 hours. Call before if you need it quick! Once your order is ready, you'll receive an email with collection details.
 
Q: Where is Cookie Dough Collective located?
A: We are an online store only, but we also frequent Auckland markets. Catalina Bay, Smales Farm Market, Coatsville Market to name a few. Check Facebook and Instagram for updates on where we'll be.
 
We run Cookie Dough Collective from a home office in Eden Terrace. 
 
Q: Can I get cookie dough for my event / party?
A: Absolutely, we love working with you to create custom cookie dough pops and flavours. Check out our Cookie Dough Pops or order a small batch of your favour flavour dough.
